Challenges
To manage certain billing operations, the Departmental Hospital Center collects data from various source applications that are not standardized in their exports. After consolidation in a file, these data are integrated in a unique billing and declaration tool.
The Hospital Center would like to create a computerized data concentrator to collect the information from the various applications, apply certain consolidations necessary for their standardization and finally inject them into the billing and declaration software. A return flow allowing to enrich the source applications is also envisaged in order to industrialize the process.
The implementation of such a concentrator should make it possible to frame the redesign of strategic business applications developed in Acces and Excel by a doctor from the CHD who has retired.
The proximity and educational qualities of our design team enabled us to accompany the members of the IT department in an agile approach to new technologies.

Standardization and Security
The combination of business and technical skills provided by our teams was an asset for the success of the project. A detailed understanding of the specific challenges in the medical field as well as expertise in the various flow exchange systems enabled us to provide solutions adapted to the CHD’s billing department.
In a context of technological evolution of secure flow exchanges, Consort France has implemented tools and a standardized and secure environment around the solutions.
In concrete terms, we have accompanied the CHD teams in :
- The analysis of existing flows,
- The drafting of detailed functional and technical specifications,
- The development,
- The testing phase of the solution.
Within the framework of the double governance – Consort France and CHD – implemented, the close steering bodies allowed a perfect control of the functional perimeter and the delivery of the project in time.
A perfect technical mastery of the processing of flows associated with the knowledge of the security rules in the field of medical and personal data processing associated with our technical know-how made this project a success.
