Challenges
In order to respond to the move towards paperless applications for driving licences initiated by the Agence Nationale des Titres Sécurisés (ANTS), our customers have asked us to build them a solution that matches their business (photo booths or freelance photographers) and the technical requirements of government departments.
Provide a secure identity photo management service
To support our customers as their businesses evolve, the Consortia teams have designed a secure intermediation platform between photographers or photo booths and the ANTS (Agence Nationale des Titres Sécurisés).
We were able to build a technical architecture that was both simple and secure, in order to meet the requirements for processing sensitive personal data. We supported our customers during the technical acceptance phases and were able to quickly adapt the exchange protocols to meet the specific requirements of each context.
We also developed an operating mode that guarantees data consistency and avoids the loss of information in the event of systems becoming desynchronised.
The first project was developed in 4 months, followed by an extension to include freelance photographers. Consortia carried out these projects with a commitment to results, then provided third-party application maintenance, hosting and supervision for 7 years.
Over the years, similar projects have been carried out in other countries, three in Europe and one in Japan.

A complete offer from development to TPAM
Consortia deployed all its expertise in terms of development, hosting and supervision to support our clients in making this project a success.
Following the first deployment, we carried out equivalent projects for other countries and for freelance photographers.
With the emergence of full-cloud services, we offered our cleints the opportunity to benefit from these new capabilities, and we upgraded one of the contexts to this new architecture.
Consortia has brought together all the skills needed to implement a secure solution according to the state of the art: architecture, development, management, infrastructure, supervision, etc.
Initial design
- Designing and setting up the technical architecture, developing the ANTS booth interfaces, securing data flows
- Setting up qualification and production environments, end-to-end acceptance testing
Third-party application maintenance
In charge of application maintenance for almost 7 years:
- Support and maintenance in operational conditions
Adapting the application to changes in the PaaS provider’s API
Carrying out upgrades
Hosting and supervision
Hosting management :
- Server environment management
- Deployment management
- Backups
- Service supervision
Extension of the perimeter
Following the first project in France, our client asked us to implement similar services in three other European countries and in Japan.
In the case of the projects carried out in Europe, these gave rise to a continuation of the maintenance and hosting activities.
Evolution full cloud
At the suggestion of the Consortia teams, one of the projects was migrated to the Microsoft Azure cloud in servlet mode (Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Storage) and to a microservices architecture.
This ‘full-cloud’ port required the application architecture to be adapted in order to take full advantage of the benefits of the cloud.
