Committed to CSR since signing the United Nations Pact, in 2017, Consort Group set up its Sustainable procurement Charter, the foundation of ethical, sustainable and partnership-based relationships with its suppliers.
Sustainable procurement, a strategic lever for CSR policy
The adoption of responsible supplier practices is a cornerstone of the Group’s CSR policy. Fully in line with the recommendations of our Integrated Management System (IMS) and ISO 27001, 20000-1, 14001 and 9001 certifications, this approach extends to all levels of the organization.
In particular, the Group is committed to :
– Protected and adapted sector: In 2023, 24% of waste cleaning and recycling companies in France has come from this sector, an increase of 4.3% compared to 2022.
– Local support: Through co-contracting and sustainable procurement, we support our SME/VSB partners.
Internally, the purchasing function reflects our values of ethics and professionalism, aligned with the 10 key commitments of the National Charter.
A signature symbolizing reinforced ambition
This new stage is a new step forward towards aan even more developed CSR approach. By adopting the 10 principles of the National Charter, Consort aims to :
– Keeps on working on its process of continuous improvement, benefiting from the contributions of the community and feedback from signatory organizations in the field of responsible purchasing ;
– Strenghthen the integration of environmental and social responsibility issues into all purchasing processes within the company ;
– Strengthen collaborations : Increase the number of our partner suppliers and deepen our relationship with them towards a true partnership by optimizing the management of reciprocal dependencies ;
– Accelerate sustainable transformation : Collaborate with signatory companies for a resilient future.

% in one year in the use of cleaning and waste recycling companies issued from projects carried out in collaboration with disabled employees. It shows the concrete impact of our actions.
Towards a more sustainable collaboration with our suppliers
Among the commitments defined in the new Charter, Consort put a special emphasis on establishing responsible relationships with its suppliers, especially small and medium-sized businesses.
This includes :
– Rigorous management of costs, quality and deadlines
– Setting up a mediator to facilitate exchanges and build trust.
